Here are three great things to do in the city of Fort Worth.
*First and foremost, one of the great things to do in the city of Fort Worth is visiting the Adobe Western Art Gallery, which is located on North Main Street. This gallery is one that offers both contemporary and traditional Western art, as well as Western jewelry, pottery, sculpture, and even a fine selection of Western-style furniture as well.
*Another great thing to do in the city of Fort Worth is visiting the Chisholm Trail Mural, which is located in Sundance Square on Main Street and Third Street. This three-story tall Richard Haas trompe l’oeil mural, which spans the southern facade of the 1908 Jett Building, is considered to be the downtown area’s most iconic piece of public art and also serves as a reminder of the city’s rich cultural roots, as it commemorates the Fort Worth segment of The Chisholm Trail cattle drives of 1867 through 1875.
*One other great thing to do in the city of Fort Worth is visiting Airfield Falls Conservation Park, which is located on Pumphrey Drive. This is a park that is considered to be Tarrant County’s largest natural waterfall, as well as the home of many important native wildlife and monarch butterflies during their migration to the north. This is a park that is situated on the east side of Naval Air Station JRB and also features parts from a McDonnell Douglas C-9 airplane. Back in October of 2017, the park was honored as being the home of two different Texas Historic Markers.
